Has anyone on here converted a standard Redhawk to another caliber? As some of you may know I just came up with the 480 Barnes and am thinking it might make for a good defensive round as well, albeit loaded down a bit, and am wondering what some of your experiences have been with converting them

nobearsyet, I've had Dave Clements convert my Redhawk 44 to a tight 45 Colt and Gary Reeder convert my Redhawk 41 to his 410 GNR (454 necked to 41 caliber). Both conversions work great and I have no regrets....RW
By the way, thank you for starting a site for us DA shooters.

glad to, and thanks, I thin kit will handle my 480 Barnes but am worried about the amount of meat around the cylinder, it runs at Ruger only pressures to get it's 350grn. bullet out the tube at 1200fps.
